A dedicated Pilates and TRX Training studio based in Cirencester - the heart of the Cotswolds

The Whiteway Studio lies in a secluded and idyllic setting, a ten minute scenic walk across the Abbey Grounds from Cirencester’s Market Square, making it a perfect location for our purposes. We occupy two former farm workshop units. Now completely refurbished to create our purposed-built facility with our light and airy exercise studio, two treatment rooms and free parking adjacent to the building.

PILATES

Pilates matwork classes focus on a series of movements incorporating strength, flexibility and mobility. The exercises are progressive and safe, allowing you to work at your own pace with an emphasis on technique and individual progress.

The Pilates exercise system is a form of overall strength and conditioning used in the development of strong core muscles which also focuses on breathing, balance and sustaining the stability of the joints throughout their range of movement.

Suitable for all levels of ability including beginners, pre & post natal.

NORDIC WALKING

Nordic Walking is a more dynamic form of walking and has been shown to provide many health and fitness benefits. It has many advantages, both for healthy and fit individuals who want to increase their workouts and gain additional cardiovascular benefits as well as for those with medical conditions that restrict them from jogging or running.

Nordic walking (also called pole walking) involves applying force to the poles with each stride. Nordic walkers use more of their entire body (with greater intensity) and receive fitness building stimulation not present in normal walking for the chest, latissimus dorsi muscle, triceps, biceps, shoulder, abdominals, spinal and other core muscles that may result in significant increases in heart rate at a given pace. Nordic walking has been estimated as producing up to a 46% increase in energy consumption, compared to walking without poles.
