CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19): INFORMATION FOR CLASS ATTENDANCE:

We are fundamentally changing the way we operate The Whiteway Studio. The Coronavirus outbreak has forced us all to re-think and re-evaluate how we go about our daily lives. We must embrace a new, and improved, “normal” that protects both people and businesses from the devastating effects of the virus.

We, therefore, plan to introduce measures to keep our Clients and Practitioners as safe as possible. The Whiteway Studio will ensure that the facility does not get overcrowded and that social distancing can be adhered to whilst providing the best possible service.

Amid concerns around the continued spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), and in accordance with Public Health England recommendations, we are operating business as usual for the foreseeable future. We, at The Whiteway Studio wholeheartedly recognise that we play an important role for our community. We remain committed to doing everything reasonably possible to continue supporting our friends and clients during these challenging times.

We are intending to remain open but and are taking additional steps so that everyone can observe new behavioural disciplines with respect to social distancing. Following the advice from UK Government to observe social distancing rules we are making additional changes within our studio.

IMPORTANT CHANGES WHEN USING THE WHITEWAY STUDIO:

As you know, we have significantly increased cleaning and hygiene protocols within the studio facility. To ensure we continue to provide everyone with a safe place to exercise and specifically to provide for social distancing we are making some further changes:

  • We recommend waiting in the car or car park prior going into the studio.

  • Bring your own mat, flex bands, blocks, large/small stability ball, foam rollers, etc.

  • We will only allow a maximum of 6 people at a time in the class for both Pilates and TRX.

  • Entering via the front door and exiting the Studio via the side door, directly onto the car park. Creating the flow through (one way) system.

  • With more people having to work from home, we are amending our “Weekly Class Timetable” and considering putting on additional daytime classes to spread numbers more thinly in class and to accommodate this change in lifestyle and work routine. Please let us know what suites you.

  • Pilates equipment, all equipment to be cleaned after class. If possible bring your own mat, flex-band, blocks, stability ball, foam roller, etc.

  • TRX, all equipment to be cleaned after class. If possible bring your own TRX, mat, water bottle, gloves, etc.

  • Certain items of equipment will be temporarily removed from use, to ensure the minimum 2 metre social distance, as advised by the Government, is maintained

  • We are currently investigating how to incorporate an online class alternative for people that are unable to visit the studio.

ADDITIONAL STEPS WE RECOMMEND YOU TAKE

We know that for many of you the gym is an important part of your lifestyle and, staying fit and well is now more important than ever. If you do wish to keep training, please follow these simple steps:

  1. Ensure you are well enough to exercise. If you are showinG ANY Symptoms of Coronavirus, please stay away from the studio.

  2. When in the studio, leave a 2 metre distance between you and other members, to ensure that we all respect the need for social distancing.

  3. Use the hand sanitiser when entering our studio.

  4. Continue to take extra care to protect yourself and others while in the studio, using the additional hygiene measures we already have in place.

We will continue to do what we can to provide you with a safe and hygienic place to exercise.  Given the on-going uncertainty we may need to make further changes and we will update you if this is the case.

Thank you for your continued support and patience as we work this through.

Let’s work together to keep ourselves safe and well.
